SCC Strategic Management Series Spotlights E-commerce; Go Green Consultant Inspires Business Students
The digital landscape took center stage at Southern Christian College (SCC) as the second session of the Strategic Management Speaker Series continued on October 17, 2025 at the Educational Media Resource Center (EMRC). Anchored on the theme “Building Business Minds: Stories, Strategy, and Success,” the event gathered business students and faculty for a deep dive into innovation and the evolving world of digital trade.
The session featured Mr. Allan Roy Lastimozo, a Manufacturing Consultant from Go Green Manufacturing Corporation. With his extensive experience, Mr. Lastimozo led a dynamic discussion on the power of e-commerce, dissecting how digital platforms have revolutionized modern trade, reshaped consumer behavior, and unlocked new frontiers for entrepreneurs in the digital age.
Mr. Lastimozo framed the digital marketplace as an arena of relentless evolution. He argued that in the fast-paced world of e-commerce, static textbook theories are often outpaced by real-time trends. Consequently, he championed rapid adaptability and strategic foresight not merely as advantages but as essential requirements for any entrepreneur seeking to thrive in the digital age.
The event was not merely a lecture but a call to action, encouraging students to bridge academic learning with real-world business practices. The insightful exchange sparked new ideas among the attendees, motivating them to apply strategic management principles to future business challenges.
The successful activity was facilitated by the 4th-year Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) major in Marketing Management students under the Strategic Management class of Ms. Analyn Lea T. Ugalingan, MMBA.
