The Latin words inscribed in the SCC seal Fides, Fortitudo,
Servitium, stand for Faith, Character and Service. The Torch on the
seal symbolizes not only the light of learning but also the light of the
Christian faith. The background is the map of Mindanao where the
institution is serving.
