SCC High School Batch ’81 Celebrates 6th Birthday and Thanksgiving
SCC High School Batch ’81 recently celebrated their 6th Birthday and Thanksgiving for reaching senior age, surrounded by 35 cherished batchmates and two beloved mentors. Our lunch celebration was nothing short of magical, bringing us closer together as we reminisced about the past and embraced the present.
One highlight of the event was the profound devotional message delivered by Engr. Jim Clamor, reflecting on life’s purpose and the challenges that have shaped us into the resilient individuals we are today. As we move forward, may we learn to “number our days,” that we may gain wisdom, as prescribed in Psalm 90:12.
The presence of our high school teachers, Ma’am Elisa Occeña and Ma’am Nilda Sanoy, added an extra layer of nostalgia and gratitude for their lasting guidance. We also deeply appreciated the presence of our batchmates and our former teacher, Ma’am Lucille Alucilja, who joined us online via Messenger video call. Special thanks to our SCC Alumni and Friends Association President, Dr. Edwin L. Cruzado, whose attendance added prestige to our gathering.
As the day unfolded, our hearts were filled with joy and laughter as we shared unforgettable memories from our teenage years, stories of youthful crushes and innocent adventures that defined our high school days.
A special highlight was the unique clock token given to each celebrant, embossed with their individual high school graduation photo from the Yearbook (Torch). The celebration continued into the evening with a delightful dinner at Dr. Rene Quiñones’ Farm Resort. The night was a symphony of music, laughter, and dance as we sang karaoke, rekindled old friendships, and created new memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.
It was truly a day-to-night affair to remember, filled with love, camaraderie, and the unmistakable bond that unites us as HS Batch 1981.
As we look back on this meaningful celebration, let us carry forward the spirit of unity and friendship that has characterized our journey together. Here’s to many more years of shared memories, laughter, and love. Cheers to Batch ’81! Let the SENIORS’ PROMENADE commence—a leisurely walk… for the best is yet to come!
