SCC CTE Successfully Concludes Ebpeiseg V.2, Celebrating a Season of “BE TRANSFORMED” Service
The academic journey of Ebpeiseg V.2 reached its triumphant finish line on March 14, 2025. On this date, College of Teacher Education (CTE) conducted the final session of the program, officially wrapping up five Fridays of intensive Writing and Numeracy enhancement that has left a lasting mark on the partner community.
The curriculum transcended traditional instruction, replacing rote learning with dynamic, high-engagement interventions. By blending academic rigor with interactive play, the program achieved the “Empowerment” promised in the mission statement: it sharpened foundational skills while simultaneously igniting the self-belief students need to master complex subjects.
The program’s completion signified more than just the end of a program; it represented the successful fulfillment of the BE TRANSFORMED mandate. Over the course of the initiative, CTE demonstrated what it means to be a “Community-serving University,” translating institutional vision into tangible student success. The continuity of the sessions underscored the program’s commitment to advancement. It served as proof that meaningful community development cannot be achieved through sporadic acts, but requires the discipline of consistency and resilience
The conclusion of the sessions marked the beginning of the Evaluation Phase. Moving from execution to reflection, the CTE would move to harvesting data from the program to measure specific gains in literacy and numeracy. This rigorous post-program analysis ensured that the ‘BE TRANSFORMED’ mandate is a living cycle—where every lesson learned today becomes the blueprint for a more effective intervention tomorrow.
The College of Teacher Education extends its gratitude to all faculty, students, and community partners who contributed to the success of the program. The collaboration embodies the solidarity aspect of the mission, proving that when the academe and the community unite, they can transform educational outcomes for the better.
