CSG Launches PAGSIBOL 2025 in Malamote
The College Supreme Government (CSG) proudly launched PAGSIBOL 2025: Planting Activity for Greening, Sustainability, and Intergenerational Biodiversity Outreach and Legacy on November 8, 2025 marking a significant milestone for the institutional KLIMA (Kalikasan laging Alagaan, Iisang Mundo Mahalagang Panagutan) Movement. Pagsibol is a Filipino word that translates directly to germination and growth. Thus, the title of this activity aptly captures the essence of the tree-growing initiative.
Transforming the Malamote district into a hub of environmental unity, the drive mobilized a diverse coalition of changemakers. The Malamote Barangay Council and the Sangguniang Kabataan (Youth Council), the Tribung Mindanaw Mountaineering Club, and the Social Studies Society converged with a singular purpose: to promote sustainable living and secure the long-term health of the planet.
The CSG championed the ripple effect of stewardship. They framed every planted seedling not merely as a gesture, but as a catalyst — proving that micro-interventions, when multiplied by a united community, can reverse macro-environmental damage. This philosophy supported the KLIMA advocacy, transforming individual efforts into a collective shield for the Earth.
Through this activity, students and community members were encouraged to be agents of change — one seed, one tree, and one community at a time.
