CC Leaders Take the LEAP: LETSGO 2025 Sparks Social Transformations

Southern Christian College (SCC) has taken a bold step in student development with the conclusion of the SCC Leadership Encounter and Training for Student Governance and Organization (LETSGO) 2025.

Held from August 1-3, 2025, this seminar camp was the flagship implementation of the Leading with Ethics, Accountability and Purpose (LEAP) Launchpad. The goal was ambitious: to produce globally competitive leaders who are not just administrators, but true instruments of social transformation. Activities included learning sessions, teambuilding activities, open forum, and workshops.

The program recognized that today’s leaders must do more than run meetings; they must navigate complex socio-technical challenges. To achieve this, the curriculum focused on building leaders rooted in faith, character, and service.

Prominent alumni leaders, including Mr. Leo Kenneth N. Toledo, Ms, Eul Jowena S. Raval, Rev. Wilson James R. Limos, returned not just to speak, but to serve as architects of the next generation. They dismantled the myth of the ‘natural-born leader,’ replacing it with a rigorous engineering approach to governance. The curriculum drilled students on the mechanics of the LEAP framework, teaching them that Ethics is the compass for collaboration, Accountability is the engine of organizational efficiency, and Purpose is the fuel for decisive action.

The strategic alignment of LETSGO 2025 with the LEAP framework solidifies SCC’s commitment to producing leaders equipped with the necessary ethical and technical competencies to contribute significantly to society.
