SCC Dean Roy Cabatac Secures Top 6 Spot in TESDA National Tagsanay Award
Dr. Roy A. Cabatac, Dean of SCC’s College of Agriculture, has earned national recognition after being named a National Finalist and securing a Top 6 ranking in the prestigious Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) 2025 Tagsanay Award, the search for the country’s most outstanding trainers and technical-vocational instructors. The activity culminated on October 20, 2025 at Yllagan Hall, Marikina City, Metro Manila, where the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) recognized the nation’s best.
Dr. Cabatac successfully navigated a rigorous training process and thorough evaluation to earn his place among the country’s best TESDA trainers. Beyond his ranking as the 6th National Finalist among 13 contenders, Dr. Cabatac also received the special award for Best in Data Gathering, Analysis, and Synthesis.
