Inkspirers Mark Excellence at DSPC 2026
Journalists from Southern Christian College (SCC) showcased their writing excellence at one of the yearโs biggest academic competitions, the Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) 2026, held on January 11โ12, 2026, at Dilangalen National High School.
The two-day event gathered around 2,870 campus journalists (CJs) and school paper advisers (SPAs) from various municipalities across the Division of Cotabato.
According to Dr. Tinnah Escalona, Education Program Superintendent in Filipino, the competition aimed to hone the skills of young writers by developing their critical thinking and strengthening their ability to seek and uphold the truth.
She added that the DSPC also seeks to empower students by deepening their awareness of social issues, enabling them to contribute to positive change and help improve the conditions of the world they live in.
The results of the winners from the two-day competition were later announced, recognizing the outstanding performance of participating schools, including Southern Christian College.
