Southern Christian College successfully held its Alumni Connect Seminar, featuring two simultaneous sessions at the Educational Media Resource Center (EMRC) and the House of Worship.
At the EMRC, Dr. Evangeline Bravo-Manjares, a notable alumna and academic leader, led a discussion on Institutionalizing Service Learning. The event was attended by academic heads, selected faculty, and church ministers, who gained valuable insights on incorporating service learning into their syllabi.
Meanwhile, at the House of Worship, Mrs. Edelisa Bravo-Gaviola and Ms. Emalyn Balatero-Bravo shared their knowledge on eldercare. Their session, attended by PARE-TAFAS participants, as well as faculty and students from CSW and CMAHS, provided valuable perspectives on caregiving in today’s society.
SCC is honored to have welcomed back the Bravo sisters!
