Southern Christian College (SCC) has reached a historic milestone on the global stage after securing international recognition in its first-ever participation in the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI), an international ranking system that evaluates higher education institutions based on innovation, real-world impact, and creative contributions to society.
In its debut entry, SCC successfully earned global rankings in three categories, placing the institution alongside universities from across the world that are recognized for transformative and future-focused educational practices.
SCC ranked 16th globally in Crisis Management (A5), which highlights the institution’s responsive leadership, resilience mechanisms, and effective strategies in addressing crises and unforeseen challenges.
The College also secured Rank 32 in SDG & ESG-Based Responses to Global Challenges (A8), recognizing SCC’s initiatives that align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Further strengthening its global standing, SCC placed 45th in Cost-Effectiveness Management (B7), a category that acknowledges institutions that maximize resources while maintaining quality education and efficient operational systems.
