SCC Personnel Win Regional MMK 2.0 Jingle-Making Contest

Argie Sarte, SCC Technical Staff, and Jay Mark Ferenal, SCC Accreditation In-Charge, were recognized as the regional winners of the Malinis at Masaganang Katubigan (MMK) 2.0 Jingle-Making Contest of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) Region XII.

The recognition took place on September 14, 2026, during the regional launching of MMK 2.0 and the 63rd Fish Conservation Week held at the East Asia Royale Hotel in General Santos City.

Their winning entry, “Agos, Daloy,” emerged as the top entry representing the SOCCSKSARGEN Region. The piece will now advance to the national-level MMK 2.0 Jingle-Making Contest, where Sarte and Ferenal will represent Region XII.

The recognition highlights not only their creative work in music and communication, but also the role of advocacy and public awareness in promoting the protection and sustainable use of the country’s aquatic resources.
