The Office of the Scholarship Coordinator of Southern Christian College continues to double its efforts and work extra miles to channel financial assistance from different agencies and organizations to SCC students. On September 7, 2020, the Tertiary Education Subsidy (TES) release to the student grantees for the first semester of the academic year 2019-2020 concluded. While the application for the said program for the academic year 2020-2021 already started last August 4, 2020, for continuing student grantees.
More than 700 aspiring student grantees submitted their requirements to the Office of the Scholarship Coordinator. The application schedule for first-year students, transferees, and other continuing students who were not validated and selected last academic year began on August 24 and ended on August 29, 2020. The application was extended from September 8-11, 2020.
Considering the increasing demands of education in the new normal, SCC understands the struggles and challenges experienced by many students, especially those underprivileged. Hence, SCC has made sure that every student at the tertiary level will have the chance to apply for the TES for this academic year.
