Faculty members of the Preschool/Elementary School and the College of Teacher Education start their preparation for the incoming school year 2023-2024 by participating in the seminar on Management and Strategies of Inclusive Classroom held in the campus today.
The seminarโs resource person is Ms. Gemma Globasa Atkinson, an SCC alumna, who is currently working at Belleuve Union School District Early Learning Center in Santa Rosa, California. Ms. Atkinson holds masterโs degree in Early Childhood Education and in Early Childhood Special Development.
Topics in the seminar include Childrenโs Behavior, Creating an Encouraging Classroom, and Understanding Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism, Visual Impairment, and Hearing Impairment.
