Southern Christian College received a $25,000 grant from the Pandemic Response Fund of the United Board for Christian Higher Education in Asia (UB). The Pandemic Response Fund was intended to help some of United Boardโ€™s network institutions meet the challenges of delivering quality education during the CoVID-19 pandemic.

The grant was utilized by SCC to purchase and upgrade learning resources as the school recalibrates and improves the delivery of quality education in the new normal. SCC was able to obtain a server for database and web hosting, and upgrade its learning management system, MOODLE 2.7. In addition, laptops and desktop computers, and computer peripherals were given to the higher education faculty as an aid in their conduct of distant online and offline learning.

The SCC Community, led by the College President Dr. Edwin T. Balaki, is grateful to the United Board for the partnership and the assistance to SCC and other partner institutions in meeting the challenges of the CoVID pandemic.
