Amidst the uncertainties brought by this pandemic, SCC continues to live with and prepare for the type of relevant education under the new normal to ensure the delivery of quality education to every student who made SCC their school of choice.

The faculty members of the Higher Education Unit were given the opportunity to attend a free seminar-workshop on the use of different online platforms that SCC will use for this curriculum year for the tertiary level. Mr. Jomar Daul, head of the Information Technology Services Unit, gave input and workshop on using Microsoft 365. Mr. Jerryll Canuel, Data Protection Officer, demonstrated the basics of Google G Suite for Education. While the use of Moodle was lectured and demonstrated by Engr. Richard Coronel, MIT, an instructor from the College of Computing and Information Studies.

The seminar-workshop generally aimed to prepare the college instructors to be equipped with the basics in handling their online and offline classes with the use of Google G Suite for Education (Google Classroom and Google Meet), MS 365 and Moodle.

All higher education faculty participated in the seminar-workshop where they experienced using the online platforms.
