Faculty, staff, and services unit personnel of Southern Christian College underwent the eight-hour Mandatory Occupational Safe and Health (MOSH) Seminar at the Fellowship Center on August 10, 2023.
Resource speaker Mr. James Patrick D. Mayol, Accredited OSH Consultant, lectured essential inputs contributing to a risk- and accident-free workplace, such as recognizing safety hazards and appropriate control measures; applying hazard identification, risk, and control; and workplace emergency preparedness.
The MOSH seminar is in accordance with the Republic Act 11058 or An Act Strengthening Compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Standards and Providing Penalties for Violations Thereof. The act aims to โensure a safe and healthful workplace for all working people by affording them full protection against all hazards in the work environment.โ
