Bridging lifelong learners to their future
Eighty two (82) students who completed the bridging program for tertiary level received their certificates earlier today at SCC.
Pursuant to CHED Memorandum Order No. 10 series of 2017, the bridging program was offered during the first semester of the current school year to learners who finished high school before the implementation of the Senior High School program of the DepEd.
During her welcome address, Dr. Neyrma Neyra-Cabatac, VPAA, pointed the rationale behind the bridging program and thanked the parents for entrusting their children’s education to SCC, and in his short talk, Dr. Edwin Balaki, College President, inspired and reminded everyone of the importance of earning a college degree.
The ceremony for the completers was led by the College of Arts and Sciences which was the offering unit with the headship of its dean, Dr. Hector P. Carbon.
These successful students are expected to enroll in the second semester as college students. (Wrechelle P. Suñas)
