On July 15, 2022, the SCC Alumni of Class 2001 did community outreach activities. In partnership with Belteshazzar Home Health Services whose CEO, Daniel Garcia is a member of the said Batch, Class of 2001 provided school supplies to elementary school pupils of the Joaquin P. Mostrales Elementary School in Barangay Lagumbingan, Midsayap, Cotabato. Some 50 pupils of the said school received school supplies in preparation for the opening of Classes in August this year.

In the afternoon of the same day, some 30 farmers in the same Barangay were trained in using probiotics which will ultimately help the farmers lowering their expenses for commercial vaccines, medicines and other biologics for farm animals and inputs. A member of the Batch, Mr. Marlonne Atchivarra, the owner and formulator of Atson’s probiotics, explained the process of using and the benefits when using the product. For animals, such formulation will boost the immune system of farm animals and help plants overcome stress due to extreme temperature, insect and pests attacks, soil toxicity and nutrient limitation. The training was capped with distribution of product samples facilitated by the members of the Batch present.
