PEACE Street Art 2014

The Municipal Tourism Office conducted a Public Art Program, in line with the celebration of the 78th Founding Anniversary of Midsayap with the theme: “Midsayapeños: Kapit Bisig na tumahak sa tuwid na daan tungo sa kapayapaan at kaunlaran”, held at the Midsayap Municipal Plaza on October 18 – November 16, 2014. This endeavor was an initiative of the local government unit through the Tourism Office to inspire local artists to showcase their Godgiven talent by creating work of arts on walls and help beautify Midsayap through mural painting.

This Peace Street Art was participated by our own members of visual arts group – Linayag Artist led by Redentor C. Alejado together with artists from the PPALMA areas. The activity was an opportunity of the Linayag Artists to unite and collaborate with other local artists working for a common goal. The Peace Street Art was officially unveiled during the Midsayap Founding Anniversary on November 23, 2014 as part of the launching of the 78th Foundation.
