The College of Computer Studies (CCS) of Southern Christian College (SCC) envisions itself as a training ground for computer science, information technology and information system professionals with the right education, knowledge and logical skills, ethics and good communication skills who able to compete globally in the fast and changing world of technology.

Mission

The College of Computer Studies is an educational institution committed to continually share knowledge and expertise in computer science, information technology and information system through   teaching, engaging in research and development programs and facilitating activities that establish and maintain linkages to related   industries and student or professional organizations, and delivering quality services to its constituents and community partners.

Objectives

The College of Computer Studies (CCS) aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Produce quality, competent and socially-responsible graduates equipped with the right education, knowledge and skills required for professional careers and advanced study in computer science, information technology, and information system;
  2. Produce relevant research in the field of computer science, information technology, and information system utilizing emerging technologies;
  3. Continually seek, introduce and utilize emerging technologies to be able to advance a discipline that promotes academic excellence and professionalism; and
  4. Establish and maintain linkages to related industries and student or professional organizations.
