THE NEW HAS COME: SCC DEDICATES NEW ELEMENTARY BUILDING

MIDSAYAP, COTABATO– In its continued attempt to lead the way in academic excellence, Southern Christian College dedicates Thursday its latest infrastructure project.

The Elementary building which is connected to the existing HRM building features modern classrooms each with its own comfort rooms and modern ventilation systems. The building which will be used starting on the opening of classes on June 15 is also equipped with a computer, sewing and science laboratories to ensure holistic training provided to the pupils.

According to the Vice president for Academic Affairs, Dr. Ma. Elena B. Bugacia, and alumna of the SCC Elementary Training Department, the building of the new home for SCC’s elementary pupils is a fulfillment of the desires of the members of the academic community. Dr. Bugacia thanked the College President Dr. Edwin T. Balaki for his will to provide the best facilities for the students. The rooms are named after the places where St. Paul has visited during his missionary journey, the Vice president added.

The President of the College Dr. Edwin T. Balaki led the dedication together with the Members of the Board of Trustees headed by Chairman Hon. Moises Arendain joined by member Ms. Jocelyn Agustin, Ms. Celerina Quiñones and Corporate Treasurer Ms. Melvie Wong.# More details to follow. (All photos by SCC-MPCD)
